BeiMacNews is the newsletter of the Beijing Macintosh Union.

With over a hundred Apple Mac and iPod shops in China, there is, incredibly enough, a dearth of Macintosh magazines. The only Mac mags the Greater China Mac population is treated to are — oddly enough — imported Mac magazines from the US and the UK. Local Mac magazines have come and gone, and none appear to be permanent efforts.

BeiMacNews aims to change that. We’re a Mac magazine that starts small, eventually becoming more and more plentiful with content. We have a massive Mac alliance to back us up, and an even more massive membership and readership will to add their bit into the magazine. And BeiMacNews is available both online and (progressively) offline, so those without an Internet connection won’t miss out.

BeiMacNews will be a bilingual Mac magazine, so those not well-versed in the lingo of 1.3 billion won’t feel left out. (Think of it, it’s probably also a great way to practise your Chinese!) The magazine is presently headed by David Feng, Gao Chunyu and Howard Hao, amongst others, and will have an increasing editorial staff bringing you the best from the Mac world.
